Positech's Articulated Jib Boom, an articulating jib, can be used as an alternative to an overhead rail system or single arm jib. The low headroom design along with two 360-degree rotation axes, allow this handling aid to reach in and maneuver over or around work cell obstructions. The articulating jib is available in five model configurations, provides up to 5,000 pounds of payload capacity, and spans up to 20 feet. The Articulating Jib Boom can be combined with the Positech Vertical Lift Cylinder to create an ergonomic lift assist that offers rigid vertical movement and off-center moment loading capabilities.

Middle joint leveling to prevent second arm drift
Precision bearings at rotation axes for smooth motion and long life
Adjustable friction brakes on all rotation axes allows the operator to set arm motion for ease of operation

Can be configured with an air or electric hoist, pneumatic balancer, vacuum tube lifter or vertical lift cylinder to fit your material handling need
Optional electric collector rings or air swivels available to allow 360° continuous rotation
Mounting options: overhead, trolley, pedestal, wall mount,column, machine or mobile/portable base
